for a tube cutting house.
— Sue Callahan, Accumetrics Limited

Four Slide Products provides precision tube cutting services for the Aerospace, Automotive, Energy/Nuclear, HVAC, Industrial, and Medical industries. Our unique shear cutting method saves you money by eliminating waste between cuts. We also bend tubes and produce a variety of tube end formations during the fabrication process, reducing handling costs and lead times.
We work with 304- and 316-grade stainless steel tubing (3 GA to 25 GA) along with brass, copper, exotic metals, and all other workable alloys in diameters of 0.015″ to 0.625″. We cut tubes as short as 0.010″, up to 18″, to tight tolerances of ± 0.001″ with minimal OD/ID distortion.
We precision-cut tubes to our customers' exact specifications, with cut tube lengths from 0.010″ to 18″ with tolerances to ± 0.001″. In addition, our carbide tooling produces square cut edges and burr-free results with minimal OD/ID distortion. We cut tubes from all workable alloys, including brass, copper, and all exotic metals. We also cut hypodermic tubing from 304- and 316-grade stainless steel, which is ideal for fiber optics, medical hypodermic tubing, breathers, and countless other applications.
Most tube bending and end forming can be achieved in-process, which reduces handling and tooling costs. We're able to produce one or more single radius bends in any direction, as tight as three times the OD center line radius, with no wrinkling or kinking. Customized end formations include axial knurl, angle cut, bulged, chamfered id, corseted, diamond knurl, expanded-end, flange, flare, flatten center, inside diameter radius (radius ID), notch or slot, outside diameter radius (radius OD), radius id reduction, reduced-end (swaging), regular bevel, rounded-end, straight cut, threaded, and more.
We source all standard tubing sizes, 0.015″ to 0.625″, and can cut tubes as short as 0.010″ to 18″, with tight tolerances to ± 0.001″. We also work with stainless steel hypodermic tubing in gauges 3 to 25. When outer diameter (OD), wall thickness (WT), inner diameter (ID), or part bending/forming requirements demand non-standard tube sizes, we leverage our direct connections to various mills and foundries to provide the perfect tubing for the job.
Many factors go into designing small tubular parts. The tube size, the bending method, the material properties of the alloy, and specified tolerances are key. In addition, when designing bent tubular parts, you need to ensure adequate wall thickness in the material to accommodate the expected tube outer diameter stretch and tube inner diameter compression associated with the desired bend radius. Our Engineering Support team is available to answer questions and design small metal tubing that will meet your needs and withstand the rigors of regular use.
Most finishing services are completed in-house, which helps to reduce lead times. Finishing options include axial knurl, angle cut, bulged, chamfered id, corseted, diamond knurl, expanded-end, flange, flare, flatten center, inside diameter radius (radius ID), notch or slot, outside diameter radius (radius OD), radius id reduction, reduced-end (swaging), regular bevel, rounded-end, straight cut, threaded, and more.
Our unique shear cutting, bending, and end forming machines save you up to 50% of material costs compared to other tube cutting processes by eliminating waste between cuts. Our innovative multi-stage fabrication process also reduces handling and tooling costs and accelerates the production process. This results in reduced lead times and lower costs, with high volume capabilities scalable from hundreds to billions of precision-cut tubular parts.
